During June 2016 WD Hearn service engineers Mike Clayton, Chris Alcock and Johan Neveling attended Mitsubishi EDM and WEDM training in Germany. The intensive and highly technical training has given our engineers indepth knowledge of these supreme quality EDM and WEDM machines. Mitsubishi Electric Corporation is a Japanese multinational electronics and electrical equipment manufacturing company headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. WD Hearn is Mitsubishi Electric’s exclusive South African agent for Electrical Discharge Machines(EDM) and Wire-cut EDM systems.

EDM
The Mitsubishi EA8S Advance features the new M700 series control with a 15” touch screen and FP80S energy saving power supply, reducing electrical consumption by 20% as compared to the previous FP model. The all new Power Master GF2 Adaptive Control reduces graphite electrode wear by as much as 80%. The addition of the new SS Jump 5 optimizes jump up acceleration control to stabilize high speed No-Flush burning.

 
WEDM
MV1200S WEDM Machine: The MV series features new improvements in machine construction, auto-threading, internal machine communication, power supply technology and operating costs. The MV1200-R also includes a new, non-contact Optical Drive System - ODS. The MV series features the M700 series control with 15-inch touchscreen.
